George Young Company welcomes your members at 10:00 am on Saturday November 16, 2013 to a presentation entitled “Successful Collaboration Efforts of Conservators, Preservationists and Fine Arts Handlers”.

We will present George Young Company’s award-winning 2012 Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association’s Rigging Job of the Year which documents the relocation of Sir Moses Jacob Ezekiel’s Anthony J. Drexel Monument in a single piece.

Next, we will break for refreshments and a facility tour of some of our specialized equipment including 500-ton hydraulic gantries and 770-ton capacity hydraulic suspension trailers.

Lastly we’ll gather for a Power Point presentation of various pieces Young and Conservators have collaborated on for successful de-installations and installations. A Q and A session and discussion of “Is There Any Limit to What Can Be Moved” will complete your visit.
